In a blink of an eye the 2013 Festival is now over and what a fabulous festival it was! The London Bridge Ensemble and their wonderful guests, violinist Esther Hoppe, violinist/violist Krzysztof Chorzelski and cellist Richard Lester treated audiences to four days of exquisite chamber music. Too many highlights to mention them all, but the Russian and French flavours certainly hit the spot, as did some Mozart favourites, and who could forget the brilliantly inventive and hypnotic performance by ‘firefly burning’ or the joyous finale of Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir? Thank you to everyone who made this year’s festival happen!
