How to book
This year we are selling tickets for the Festival through the Theatre Royal Winchester, which is next door to the Discovery Centre: Theatre Royal, Jewry Street, Winchester SO23 8SB.
Subject to availability, you can also buy tickets on the door at the Discovery Centre, St Lawrence and St Paul’s Churches (please note most events are at the Discovery Centre, unless otherwise stated in the ticket price section).
Over 60s: special rates.
Other concessions: full-time students/under 18s (if not buying through the Young Persons’ Scheme detailed below), disabled and job seekers. Proof of eligibility may be required.

By phone: 01962 840440, using debit or credit card. There’s an answerphone outside opening hours or during busy periods.
In person: Monday – Friday 10.00am – 6.00pm and Saturday 10.00am – 5.00pm. The box office is also open two hours before Sunday performances at the Theatre Royal and until 15 minutes after ‘curtain up’ on performance days there.
Please note that card transactions over the phone or in person incur a £1.50 charge.
Paying in person with cash: There is no charge for this, so if you can buy in person, this is the most economical option. Please note no cheques.
Tickets sent by post: 60p charge.
On the door: The Festival Box Office opens at each venue 30 minutes before the start of the event (cash only please and subject to availability) and for the collection of pre-booked tickets. If buying on the door, we strongly advise you to allow enough time to do so.

Festival Pass
All events – full price £80, which is a massive saving of £23.00. Over 60s: £65 saving £21.50.
Saturday Pass
Three concerts, £36 full price; £27 over 60s, saving £9.50 in both price bands.
Young People’s Ticket Scheme
If you’re aged 8-25, take advantage of our FREE allocation of tickets (first come, first served!) otherwise students/under 18s rate applies. To claim your free ticket (1 per young person per concert), you need to complete and hand in the Young People’s Scheme forms which are held at the box office, or you can download it here, fill it in and then take it to the box office. M. Proof of eligibility may be required.

Please note: the Discovery Centre auditorium and St Lawrence and St Paul’s Churches have unreserved seating. Doors will open 20 minutes before each performance. If buying your tickets on the day, please allow enough time to do so.
Winchester Theatre Royal general terms and conditions
Reservations by phone or in person can be held for three working days. However, reservations cannot be made one week or less before any of the concerts and if payment is not received within this time, reservations will be released.
Exchanges and resales: The exchange of tickets is subject to a charge of £1.00 per ticket. If you are unable to attend a performance for which you have booked, the Theatre Royal’s box office will try to resell your tickets, although the selling of any unsold tickets must take priority. There is a service charge of £1.00 for each ticket resold. The Theatre Royal regrets that refunds cannot be made.
